Every year the Innovators of the Year are elected during a prestigious gala event. The Culinary Innovator of the Year will be chosen among the various candidates: a person, a company or the institution that can present an innovative vision, a concept, a service or product that offers real added value to the culinary world. This ranges from innovative ingredients, dishes, drinks and preparations through special frameworks and concepts to the most technologically advanced products and ideas. Attention is also paid to the most innovative marketing approach and the evolutions towards sustainability.
