APICBASE and Gastronomisch Gilde partner for the 4th time during Horecava 2018!

Horecava is taking place from January 8-11, 2018, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We are honoured to announce that APICBASE will be there for the fourth year in a row to caption the creativity of chefs during the live cooking competitions organised by Gastronomisch Gilde, a network for professionals in food and hospitality. 

Dutch national championship for chefs

One of the events, taking place on the first day of Horecava, is the Dutch national championship for chefs. All eight top restaurants, with a master chef and/or star chef, will take part in this competition to win the Golden Chef’s Hat 2018. Amongst them are: 

  • Restaurant De Heer Kocken*, Vught

  • Landhuishotel De Bloemenbeek*, De Lutte

  • Ciel Bleu**, Amsterdam

  • Hotel Landgoed Het Roode Koper*, Ermelo

  • Hotel Lansink*, Hengelo

  • Hotel Restaurant Merlet*, Schoorl

  • Restaurant ‘t Amsterdammertje*, Loenen aan de Vecht

  • Restaurant De Loohoeve, Schoonloo

All teams taking part will be judged by Thomas Bühner, chef of restaurant La Vie *** in Osnabrück (Germany), Frank Fol, president of the Masterchefs Belgium, Cees Helder, the first chef to receive 3 Michelin star in The Netherlands, and Felix Wilbrink, Dutch culinary journalist of the Telegraaf. 

As a partner APICBASE will offer the winner a golden APIC Studio and a one year subscription to the software!

Young talent and pastry chefs are not left out

Besides the Dutch national championship, there are also cooking competitions for young chef (<25 years old), for the best duo preceptor-principle and those with a passion for pastry during the Dutch edition of the Dobla Pastry Battle.
